The Alpha box wedge wood splitter comes standard with a 5” American-made hydraulic cylinder, which has the power to split gnarly blocks with 58,905 pounds of splitting force. The firewood machine has an average cycle time of just 7 seconds, the result of the splitter's reliable and efficient engine in combination with the regeneration manifold which allows the rod to extend from the cylinder more rapidly without requiring a greater pump flow. While other commercial-grade log splitters may offer similar splitting forces, the Box Wedge with floating auto-retract arm sets the Alpha apart from the competition. The heavy-duty box wedge creates evenly-sized wood and the auto-retract arm pulls the un-split portion of the log back into the splitting chamber. This allows operators to burn through large blocks without re-handling.
