New Holland C314X Electric Mini Track Loader Delivers Zero-Emissions, Low-Noise Material Handling

New Holland recently announced the new fully electric C314X mini track loader. Designed for work in areas with noise and emissions restrictions, the compact tracked loader is powered by a 23.5-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery. It is well-suited to work on livestock, horticulture, landscape, and residential construction operations. The C314X Electric prototype made its public debut at Agritechnica 2025; orders are set to open before the end of the year, with deliveries starting in the spring.

“We launched the C314 two years ago, and it has become known for its excellent features,” says Francesca Asteggiano, CNH head of sales for Europe construction brands. “Today, we're developing an electric version to meet growing demand for quieter, more compact machines—reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and innovation.”

The zero-emissions, low-noise mini track loader has a radial lift boom design, a rated operating capacity of 460 kilograms (1,014 pounds), a hinge pin height of 2.2 metres (7.2 feet), and high manoeuvrability in tight spaces. The compact stand-on machine features an ergonomic joystick and electro-hydraulic controls and is ready to work as soon as the operator steps onto the rear platform. The 23.5 kWh lithium-ion battery powers two electric motors for the driveline and one motor for the hydraulics.

The C314X Electric is available with 250-millimetre (10-inch) rubber tracks and a total machine width of 1,026 mm (40 in.) or narrow tracks with a total width of 890 mm (35 in.). Operators can use the mini track loader for lots of jobs, thanks to its compatibility with a variety of attachments. New Holland says it matches the capabilities of its diesel-powered counterpart, but requires less maintenance and uses no power when idle.
